Halloween Costumes for Pets from One North of Boston

Here at One North of Boston, we know how important furry friends can be, and we provide amenities to make life better for you and your pet including our on-site dog daycare and spa services. Because Halloween is rapidly approaching and it’s time to start putting together costumes for the holiday, we thought it would be fun to share some ideas for pet costumes so you can include Fido in your celebrations (or at least a photo op to share on social media!).

Beanie Baby Pet

This costume is super simple, smart, and sweet! Throw it back to your childhood this Halloween by cuddling up with your favorite life-size beanie baby. Just fold up some cardboard, cut out a heart shape, and paste some colored paper cutouts to form the classic tag. Tie it to your pet’s collar or tie a makeshift collar around their neck to secure it.

Unicorn Pet

Your pet can look and feel as mystical and magical as a beautiful creature like a unicorn by dressing up as one. The Live Colorful blog has a great tutorial with the rundown on all the supplies you’ll need for this fantastic costume.

UPS Delivery Driver

Another great costume from Chewy California Costumes, this is perfect for any of you who aren’t sewers. If you’re taking your pup along with any trick-or-treating you or your kids will be doing, this will be a delightful guest at anyone’s door.

The Mystery Machine

This is a cute group costume you can put together easily, especially if you happen to have clothes that might fit the other Scooby Doo characters. (And if you don’t, you can buy them online or at a nearby thrift shop with little hassle.) Make the Mystery Machine out of cardboard, paint, printouts of the logo and designs, glue, and construction paper.

Have a great time taking your pet out and about in Chelsea, MA for Halloween shenanigans! Thanks for taking the time to read our post today. Happy Halloween.
